The High Performance Sports Centre was commissioned by the University of Pretoria as a joint venture with private enterprise. It is a training academy, with world class standards, and forms part of the University’s sports campus. It is made up of various facilities, these include a medical centre, gymnasium, with state-of-the-art sporting equipment, dining, retail, administration, an auditorium and accommodation/housing units. It is an asset to the University of Pretoria, and within a short period of time it has earned itself international reputation.
