Landscape Architecture

The Landscape Architecture and Environmental division was founded in 1989 and is headed by Piet Vosloo. We are concerned about the quality of our natural and man-made environments and we believe that they are inseparable and interdependent. As proponents of the long-term care of our holistic environment through integrated environmental design and management, it is our aim by way of set briefs to:

  • Preserve and extend natural landscapes and ecological systems
  • Rehabilitate those parts of the natural environment damaged by man and his activities
  • Design new sustainable landscapes inside or outside buildings and structures to satisfy the functional and aesthetical requirements
  • Integrate and manage the overlapping responsibilities and points of contact of the professional disciplines involved with the environment
  • Determine and integrate the needs of people in environmental planning to ensure sustainable landscapes
