Architectural Concept

The Okavango Delta, where water and sky meet. Being a World Heritage Site and the only land-locked delta in the world, the unique landscape draws animals and people to it. Developing a gateway to the Delta provides a promising development opportunity for Maun, Botswana’s tourism capital.

This proposal for a new airport terminal for Maun International Airport draws from the functioning of the delta for its concept, and aims to make tangible to visitors its characteristics, as a first introduction to the unique landscape they are about to experience
