Addition of an entertainment space and supporting outbuildings.

We received the exciting brief from our client to design an addition to their existing house that could comfortably be used to entertain guests and accommodate small functions, while having the spatial quality of a greenhouse, as this space would also house the client’s collection of indoor plants.

The site presented an opportunity to maximise the existing view over Mooikloof and to (visually and physically) connect the house with the garden. The interior finishes, curated and guided by our client, serve to enhance this connection and to create a vibrant space that is richly textured and detailed.
